I am right there with you. I am from South Beach SI, live in Miami now but my whole family is still there. I am completely blown away . Words cannot express what I am feeling.
You know, on a personal level, like in terms of a direct hit – my family did fine. Its just the devastation is so widespread, and its such a small community. I some from a large family and have lived here a long time. Its a matter of everyone knows someone. Keep praying, and sending all the postive thoughts you’ve got.
I sure will! My sister is still living without heat or hot water but her home is fully intact so she knows how lucky she was. You see these things on TV but until it is close, hits people you know or your home town it is not real. Hang in there and prayers will continue to pour your way!
